Pre-Priming, Finishing and Warranty
All exterior timber doors must be fully sealed on all six sides, including the tops and bottoms, before exposure to the weather. This prevents moisture uptake, swelling and long-term movement.
Our finishing process includes:
One coat of oil-based primer (unless ordered natural/clear)
Optional factory pre-priming for full sealing
Clear, stain or paint finishes available via your painter
Full care and maintenance instructions supplied with every order
Correct finishing is essential to maintain warranty coverage and ensure long-term stability of your bifold doors.
